One Charming Town: Davidson, NC
Recently, my sister and I visited Davdison, NC for the first time. We instantly fell in love with this charming small town. There’s cute restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops! Need I say more? Downtown Davidson is the perfect place for a little day trip. I’m sharing my must visit spots, and a full day itinerary below!
Breakfast / Brunch & Lunch Spots
The Soda Shop // Is there anything better than a cute diner for breakfast? Definitely hit up The Soda Shop for a late breakfast or brunch! Located on Main Street.
Famous Toastery // This place never disappoints, and it’s also located on Main Street.
The Pickled Peach // Great lunch option, with a menu that changes daily. Fresh farm-to-table food is always a good idea in my book. Check out their baked goods too!
Shopping
The Village Store // I love a shop where I can find a unique gift for a friend. From clothes, to home decor, and so much more, there’s something for everyone in this cute store!
Moxie Mercantile // I love this store so much! It has such a cool and eclectic vibe. So many neat and well-crafted finds in here! I bought a pair of unique earrings. You will definitely want to make a purchase in this neat store!
Well Kept // This store is a short 5 minute drive from Downtown Davidson. They specialize in high-end workout wear. Eventually, I plan to splurge on some workout leggings here, because they sell some SUPER cute stuff!
Coffee Shops
Summit Coffee Co // It’s not a real day out, until I’ve hit up a cute coffee shop! I loved that Summit had a large patio out back, they also have live music on weekends!
Good Drip Coffee // Another really good coffee shop vibe. You won’t go wrong with either of these downtown coffee hot spots!
There’s plenty to keep you busy in Historic Downtown Davidson.
Davidson: Activities
Davidson College // Stroll the beautiful campus, and bring a blanket to hang out on the lawn.
Roosevelt Wilson Park // Bring your walking shoes to walk around this waterfront park.
Ghost Walk of Davidson // Historic Davidson has tons of charm, but get to know another side of Davidson with a ghost tour downtown.
Fisher Farm Park // If you’re the outdoorsy kind, pack your hiking boots. Fisher Farm has extensive trails for hiking and biking!
Dinner Spots
Kindred // Saved the best for last. Kindred is pretty famous in the restaurant world. This intimate dining experience is sure to impress more than just your tastebuds. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. I told y’all, this is a popular place!
Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse // If you can’t get that coveted reservation at Kindred, then visit Flatiron! Everything is locally sourced. If you’re a beer lover, then it’s a must visit.
Wine Spots
Davidson Wine Co // Cute spot to wine down at, they also serve food! Located very close to Kindred. Make this your after dinner cocktail stop!

Davidson Village Inn // Looking for a quaint place to extend your Davidson visit? Look no further than Davidson Village Inn. A laid back hotel, offering free breakfast and afternoon tea. Feel right at home in this cozy hotel.
I can’t believe I lived in Charlotte for eight years before I discovered adorable Downtown Davidson! I’m honestly embarrassed it took me so long to explore this hidden gem. I’m already planning an outing during the holidays, so the hubs can see just how wonderful Davidson is!
My advice, is to get out and explore new areas near you! You never know what you might find.
