Nashville, Tennessee

Grab those cowboy boots and lets go girls, cause I am sharing the must hit spots in Nashville, honey. If you’re a shopping and foodie lover, then this ones definitely for you. Who’s ready to yeehaw?

NASH SHOPPING

So much incredible shopping can be done in Nashville, making it the perfect place for a girls trip.

FIFTH + BROAD > Get your name brand shopping on in this cutesy outdoor shopping center. Located near Broadway Street. Find places like Free People, Sephora, and even western stores like Ariat and Tecovas here. Be sure to grab a coffee and chill in the prettiest coffee shop ever > Elixr!

12TH SOUTH > This quaint neighborhood is perfect for strolling and shopping. Stores like Stoney Clover and Draper James are some must visits. Along with White’s Mercantile, which is my FAV Nashville store!. It’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Plan to have lunch while you’re in this area. We ate at the amazing; Edley’s Bar-B-Que.

Right across from Draper James is the infamous "I Believe in Nashville” mural. You don’t want to forget about this gram-worthy spot!

THE GULCH > Really get your shop on in this hip part of Nashville. My favorite stores to hit up here are Kittenish and Uncommon James. Walking around in the Gulch, you will be sure to find trendy brunch spots like Milk & Honey, and bars that aren’t your typical honky tonk vibe.

MARATHON VILLAGE > Looking for somewhere that’s got stuff for the guys AND stuff for the girls! Then you have to check out Marathon Village. Shop unique boutique-style shops as you also explore what used to be Marathon Motor Works. The guys will love it because there are stores like; Harley Davidson and Jack Daniels. As well as, two distilleries that offer free whiskey tastings… us girls even enjoyed that!

NASH EATS

HATTIE B’S > No matter the time of day there’s always a line outside this famous Nashville hot chicken staple. Having been to Nashville a couple times I always decided it wasn’t worth the wait. Boy was I wrong! There’s a reason people wait for it, it’s that good! Go just go!

THE BLUEBIRD CAFE > Where stars are born… The Bluebird. This long time iconic Nashville spot is not where you think it would be. It’s located inside an old strip mall. I think that just makes it even more nostalgic. If you can’t secure tickets online ahead of time, then arrive an hour or so before the show of your choosing. You will have to stand inline, in hopes of getting in with the few general admission tickets they allow for every night! This is how we were able to get in! I have to say this was one of my favorite things we did in Nashville.

LOVELESS CAFE > Oh so iconic, the Loveless Cafe is some down-home country cooking. Its all about the biscuits and jam they bring to the table here! Be sure to check out the walls, where you will see pictures of celebrities that have dined there. I especially loved the drive to Loveless Cafe, gaze at multi-million dollar mansions on your drive through Brentwood.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

COURTYARD NASHVILLE DOWNTOWN > If possible I always try to stay in a Marriott property. I loved the location for our hotel, the Courtyard was a quick five minute walk to all the bars and restaurants on Broadway Street.

Alright, let’s go girls… Get to planning that next trip to the ultimate country town. I don’t know about you, but I’m always down for a reason to break out my cowboy boots. I hope you enjoyed this guide to some of Nashville’s most iconic spots.
